It's January 3rd and I am about to hit the treadmill for my second 30 min walk of the day - so far I've managed a combined total of an hour a day since the New Year (well three days in a row isn't too bad is it).... If I survive another 30 minutes on the treadmill than I am off to work on my university assignment - yes even though I'm technically on vacation from study a late mental health placement means I have an assignment due January 11th, 2010.... Thankfully all the staff at the hospital I was allocated to were great and made the whole experience a little less scary - I hope when I'm a registered nurse I will have the patience and skills to be able to help other students...
On a complete tangent - So sad to hear that the Tavern on the Green (NYC) has closed - although some said it was a total tourist trap I really enjoyed visiting and dining there on my trips to New York City... I really hope that someone else can step in and take over the lease - it's such an institution and it would be really sad to see it close....
